Today we rolled out an upgraded version of the Skyhook SDK. Lots of great upgrades inside, including:

• Location targeted advertising - thanks to built-in ads from Quattro Wireless. Now you can start generating ad revenue as soon as you launch your mobile app.
• Virtual GPS - Developers of GPS-enabled applications can now simply plug into the WPS engine using the NMEA standard interface with no additional code changes.
• New Deployment Models - Now you can choose from Push to Fix for on-demand location (for apps like local search), or Continuous Scanning (for apps like navigation).
• Expanded Platform Support - the Skyhook SDK now supports Windows Vista^TM, Windows XP^TM, Windows Mobile^TM 5 and 6, Mac OS X^TM, Symbian S60^TM, and various Linux platforms including Maemo.
