Skyhook's publicly available SDK allows developers to quickly and easily start location-enabling their applications using Skyhook's software-only location technology on the platform of their choice.

Supported Platforms Include:

  • Android 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3.x (Gingerbread), 4.0.x (Ice Cream Sandwich), and 4.1.x (Jelly Bean), including forked platforms such as the Kindle Fire
  • Linux
  • Windows
  • Mac OS X

  • No location provided for single Wi-Fi access point or cell tower lookups

Make sure to read the documentation and call registerUser with these values during app initialization. When you are ready to deploy your app please contact us to obtain a production key and lift these restrictions.

Realm could be your company, school, domain, etc
Username should be something to uniquely identify you in your realm
