How It Works

Instead of using satellite signals like GPS does, Maps Booster uses Wi-Fi signals to determine your location. Maps Booster tells your phone to listen for Wi-Fi hotspots and by comparing these signals to our Wi-Fi database (which has the locations of over 100m Wi-Fi hotspots in it), Maps Booster is able to tell you where you are.
