NASHVILLE, TN and BOSTON, MA - July 23, 2007 - CyberAngel Security Solutions, Inc. Major institutions such as the U.S. Army Labs, Florida Department of Motor Vehicles, Sparrow Hospital, OneLegacy (a donate life organization), Transplant Resource Center, Brown University, Rutgers University, and University of Central Florida have licensed the CyberAngel Wi-Trac in part due to its innovative Wi-Fi Positioning System from Skyhooks Wireless. As a result of the widespread market demand for the CyberAngel Wi-Trac solution, Skyhook's Wi-Fi Positioning System will be integrated as a standard component of all CyberAngel's products.
In today's world, business and mobile workers increasingly rely on laptops and mobile devices to conduct business. Although this shift has resulted in increased productivity and convenience, mobility has also increased data and security risks. According to SafeWare, for example, more than 600,000 laptops are stolen or lost every year, and many of these devices have sensitive customer or corporate data on them. As a result major organizations are looking to the CyberAngel Wi-Trac to reduce these risks.
